“So don’t you think there should be a sequel to One Fine Day?,” he joked. “An Older Fine Day, and the kids are all grown up now?” Pfeiffer cracked, “It could be called I’m Tired Today.”

For all you One Fine Day heads out there, the interview was filled with nuggets of information about Clooney and Pfeiffer’s experience making the film — from the fact that they hadn’t seen each other since its premiere to the revelation that Clooney once found himself “drunk” on set.

Clooney explained that, after a day off led to drinks with his fellow Casamigos co-founder Rande Gerber, he ended up a bit worse for wear the next morning.

“I got to the set, and we walked to the trailer and I sat down and you looked at me,” he said to Pfeiffer. “You go, ‘What?’ And I was like, ‘I didn’t know we were going to work today.’ And you go, ‘You’re still drunk.'”

Clooney tried a quick fix with “whatever mouth spray [he] could [find],” since he smelled like, in Pfeiffer’s words, “a brewery” – but it sounds like they got through the day’s filming successfully anyway.
