Music icons Chris Brown and Usher are joining forces for a one-of-a-kind tour this summer, with one of their performances planned in Chicago.
The 33-stop “Raymond and Brown Tour,” also called the “R&B Tour,” will trek across the United States and Canada, featuring a series of performances beginning in late June. The tour includes a stop at Soldier Field on Friday, Aug. 21.
The live experience kicks off Friday, June 26 in Denver, Colorado, visiting a number of major cities before ending Dec. 11 in Tampa, Florida.
Usher is widely regarded as one of the greatest R&B artists of all time, as well as an all-around performer for his meticulously-crafted stage performances, dancing and live vocals. Several of his songs reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, including “Yeah!” (feat. Lil Jon & Ludacris), “Burn” and “My Boo.”
Brown is also considered one of the most prominent artists in R&B music and often known as the “King of R&B.” His hits include “Forever,” “With You” and “Gimme That.”
The upcoming tour will help provide children access to global education by donating $1 for every ticket sold to the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, according to a news release.
The artists ignited anticipation last week by releasing a joint teaser on Instagram.
Tickets will be available starting with the Citi presale beginning on Tuesday, April 21 followed by “The R&B Tour Presale” on Thursday, April 23.
