
A vehicle drove into a northwest Chicago Dunkin’ Donuts during morning rush hour Thursday just outside a prominent suburban shopping center.
Images showed a Jeep had crashed through the window of a Dunkin’ at Irving Park and Harlem, near the Harlem Irving Plaza.
An NBC 5 photographer who was at the scene shortly after it happened said the driver did appear to exit the vehicle.
One customer who arrived shortly after the crash said the window where the crash happened was near where cashiers were located.
Chicago police confirmed they were called to scene but could not provide further details.
Images showed first responders arriving at the scene.
