Tickets for one of the Chicago’s most anticipated summer music events go on sale on Thursday morning.
The iconic, annual Ravinia Festival is set to release tickets for the more than 100 concerts scheduled for this summer at 8 a.m. CT on Thursday.
This year’s lineup features big names like Paul Simon, Brandi Carlile, Ricky Martin, Chance the Rapper, Bonnie Raitt and more.
Ravinia released tips for those hoping to score tickets this year on their social media.
“High demand is expected. Some shows will sell out fast,” Ravinia said in the post.
Here’s a look at their advice:
- Decide your shows and ticket type in advance. “This is not the time to browse.”
- Update your account in advance with your payment preferences. “Make sure your address matches your bank statement exactly.”
- Get in line right at the start. Logging onto the Ravinia website a few minutes before 8 a.m. ensures you’ll be one of the first to join the line.
- Be efficient — customers only have 20 minutes to complete their order.
Customers can expect to be placed in a “virtual waiting room” while queued up to get tickets, organizers said.
