
A 39-year-old woman was critically injured in a shooting outside of a Lincoln Park bar on Sunday.
According to Chicago police, the woman was standing outside in the 600 block of West Belden Avenue at approximately 4 a.m. when she was struck by gunfire.
The woman was rushed to an area hospital, where she was listed in critical condition, police said.
Ald. Timmy Knudsen, who represents the city’s 43rd ward, confirmed the shooting occurred outside of a bar, and said police are investigating the shooting.
