Sterling Brown and his Milwaukee teammates taking a stand against wreckless Police brutality. Another police victim was shot during an unwarranted stop. Jacob Blake who was attempting to stop a fight between two women were shot 7 times. Blake was unarmed with his children with him.
Milwaukee’s player Sterling Brown also had an incident with police brutality, and he is not the only one who is tired of it. The Milwaukee Bucks are boycotting their playoff game against the Orlando Magic Wednesday.
According to TMZ, Giannis Antetokounmpo and his teammates did not participate in pre-game warm-ups before their scheduled Game 5 matchup in the NBA bubble … staying put in the locker room.
The news was just made official minutes ago — with the team announcing they will not play on Wednesday at all.
The Bucks are not the only team boycotting for Jacob Blake. OKC Thunder and Lakers vs. Blazers are officially off as well.
Lebron James spoke out through Twitter saying, “F*CK THIS MAN!!!! WE DEMAND CHANGE. SICK OF IT.”
Bucks player George Hill issued a short statement saying, “We’re tired of the killings and the injustice.”
Bucks exec Alex Lasry has also weighed in …
“I’m incredibly proud of our guys and we stand 100% behind our players ready to assist and bring about real change.”
Sterling Brown, who was tased by officers in Milwaukee said he was offered a $400,000 settlement in exchange for his silence on the matter.
Brown was accused of parking in a handicapped spot in 2018 and never resisted police.
As for Jacob Blake 707,000 petitions have been signed to charge the cops who almost ended his life in front of his children.
