Cook County Crime Stoppers released an image of a suspect authorities are looking for in connection to an arson fire in a Chicago house that left two adults and two kids dead.
The image released by Crime Stoppers appears to show a person lighting a fire on the deck of the residence where the deadly fire occurred in late May on the 6200 block of South Paulina Street in the city’s West Englewood neighborhood.
Crime Stoppers is also offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information that leads to the indictment or arrest of the person responsible.
Lisa Brown and Reginald Wilson and two foster kids they had custody of, 8-year-old Royalty Rattler and her 15-year-old brother Ja’quan Rattler, were all killed in the fire. A 14-year-old and 16-year-old were rescued from the house that was left blackened and charred.
Police launched an arson investigation after two adults and two kids were killed in a fire in West Englewood on Wednesday. Randy Gyllenhaal reports.
“Our volunteers will be working side-by-side with Area 1 Detectives to reach residents in the neighborhood where this tragedy occurred,” said Paul Rutherford, Executive Director of Cook County Crime Stoppers. “Someone knows who is responsible for this crime. We encourage anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to contact Crime Stoppers anonymously and help bring justice to this family.”
Police and Crime Stoppers volunteers will canvas the neighborhood Wednesday evening in an effort to learn more about the case and distribute information to neighbors who may have information useful to their investigation.
